STONE LAKE AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY UPCOMING EVENTS
SPECIAL PROGRAM ON B52 CRASH WILL BE PRESENTED:
Next summer, a special presentation on the 1966 B52 bomber crash in Stone Lake will be presented to the public. Tom Sybert who was a young boy at the time of the crash, not only remembers the event vividly but has become a historian on the subject. He has met with seven families of the nine airmen who perished that day, and has placed a special plaque at the site of the crash so those men will never be forgotten. The date of this historical society event will be annouced in the April, 2018, newsletter. You will learn much more about this tragic event than has previously been presented to the public.
"A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM":
On Thursday, June 7, 2018, a very special "NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM" is planned for our museum greeters. During this evening we will give you a guided tour and provide you with a pamphlet showing the location of special exhibits. The date for this event Thursday, June 7, 2018. The event helps our greeters feel more confident sharing the museum with our visitors. Please join us for wine and treats as you learn more about the Stone Lake Area Museum Complex!
