MONETARY DONATIONS:

The "Stone Lake Area Historical Society" is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, so all donations are tax deductible.

Your monetary donations are used in a variety of ways, from purchasing display materials to covering regular operating expenses. If you would like to have your donation used in a specific manner, just give us that information.

HISTORICAL ITEM DONATIONS:

Please contact us in regard to the item or items you wish to donate. We will then make arrangements with you for a time and place we may accept the item, and we will have an accession form prepared for your files and for ours. It is important that we have a brief written history of the donated item(s) and we will help you prepare it.

DONATION OF TIME:

We never run out of ways in which you can help us by donating your time. We have regular hours that the museum is kept open and greeters are needed for these times. We have special events that require many volunteers, and we have regular maintenance and cleaning chores where many hands make light work.
