STONE LAKE AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY MISSION STATEMENT:

Our purpose shall be exclusively educational and specifically to collect and preserve records and objects related to the history of the Stone Lake area of Sawyer County and Washburn County.

We shall operate a museum in cooperation with the Wisconsin Historical Society and/or other organizations, agencies, or municipalities and shall keep proper records for the protection of the interests of our donors and contributors. 

UPCOMING EVENTS

June 26 - July 2, 2010 (Monday - Friday):  Vacation Bible School will be held for children of all denominations at First Lutheran Church of Stone Lake.  Looking for an activity for your visiting grand children to enjoy?  Call Betty Helwig at 715-865-5500 for full details on this great program.

July 11, 2010 (Sunday):  Stone Lake Area Historical Society Pie And Ice Cream Social will be held at the Lion's Club Park Pavilion from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  There will be live music and fun and delicious pie and ice cream.
